Straight from the Hart - Issue #1

Straight from the Hart
Welcome to Straight from the Hart! Thank you for joining me on this wild journey.
As I’m not great at publishing content regularly, or shouting about it when I do, I thought a newsletter might help keep you up to date on what’s new.
This newsletter will highlight content from all of the different platforms that I’m on. This includes my Blog, YouTube channel, Twitter feed, and also content from The Things We Don’t Talk About podcast.
I’m not going to flood your inbox with emails, so will only send you a newsletter when there’s something worth shouting about 😁
This launch edition features something I am massively proud of - the WCAG Colour Compliant Colour Scheme Creator Power App. This is the initial launch post, video, and initial solution download. There will be more to come as I delve into how I built it, and make improvements and expand the capabilities.
I hope you find this useful, please share with others and let me know if you do!
Until next time,

Episode 4 of The Things We Don’t Talk About features Carl Cookson as our guest. Carl and I speak very openly, and honestly, about our own experiences of Mental Health. In particular we talk about Depression and how it has affected us, along with how we have developed our own coping strategies.
Alison also talks about life on the outside as someone who doesn’t know how it feels, and is in that common position of not knowing what to say or do.
I’d also recommend dropping in to my “Mental Health Check” blog post. In it I list 7 questions you can ask yourself to evaluate your own mental health, and then suggest some actions you can take. As always, we will always say that you should consult with professionals if you are facing mental health struggles.
